Photoscreen (or offset-printed) pins are made by printing a high-resolution, full-color image onto a metal base and coating it with a clear epoxy for protection. They are thinner, lighter, and have a smooth, flat surface.

Photoscreen pins are the best choice for designs with intricate details, gradients, or photographs because they can capture and reproduce the digital artwork exactly. Enamel pins, which are filled in by hand, are better suited for designs with distinct color separation and clean lines.
